Here are some impression from my trip to melbourne, where i went with Jill Scott to set up the Electric Retina at RMIT gallery for the exhibition Super Human: Revolution of the Species organized by the Australian Network for Art and Technology.
The setup went great and i had some time to celebrate my birthday, meeting with my old friend Guoliang and going to some wicked noise concerts in bar open and horse bazaar.
After a discussion with some sci-fi movie makers in melbourne I thought i could show up at the set using my newest development...
und wieder waren wir am shift festival in basel präsent...
4 tage lang waren die grosse SGMK crew in der ausstellung übel am löten. das publikum war voll intensiv dabei, haben sogar schon am morgen begonnen smd bauteile zusammenzulöten um sich ein theremin zu basteln. oder auch den mit oli (namshub) neu entwickelten 1x_pixel, eine interaktive audio/visuelle einstiegsdroge in die medienkunst....
I am happy to announce that we received the Migros Werkbeitrag for the hackteria project. The official event took place during the Shift Festival 09 in Basel, where SGMK was present anyway with a hardcore soldering workshop in the exhibition.

Another great performance of the live-soldering group DIY Kamikaze at the festival of 10 years anyma in Fribourg.
